Frequently Asked Questions

School Problems

School is a big part of your life, and it’s completely natural to feel anxious or worried about it sometimes. It can be really hard going to a new school, going back to school after the holidays or when you’ve been away. Not everyone looks forward to it. You might be worried about being bullied or not fitting in, keeping up with the homework, your family not having the money to pay your fees, uniform or buy your books, or someone at school, maybe a friend or even a teacher who is hurting you or making you upset. Our counsellors talk with children and young adults every day about all kinds of things to do with school. They are kind and don’t judge you and can often help you with how you’re feeling or what you want to do next. Our counsellors will never tell your parents, friends or teachers about what you talk about unless you ask them to, so you can talk freely and honestly aboutwhatever is on your mind.
